Vuori Kore Shorts

Product Review

Disclaimer: I received a pair of Vuori Kore Shorts as a part of Influencer Day at The Running Event (TRE) which I was able to attend as part of being a BibRave Pro. Learn more about becoming a BibRave Pro (ambassador), and check out BibRave.com to review find and write race reviews!

I'm back with Vuori Kore Shorts for day 9 of the 11 days of TRE Product Reviews. One of the best things about attending TRE this year was getting to meet so many brands that I'd never heard about before. Vuori was actually one of my favorite brands to talk to because I'm a huge fan of the vibe of their company.

Vuori is California based company that aims to break the mold of traditional performance wear by creating gear that "merges technical clothing with a west coast vibe that looks and fits great." Their clothes are "functionally built to move and sweat in, but designed with a casual aesthetic aimed to transition effortlessly into everyday life."

As someone who struggles to squeeze in workouts with an array of other day-to-day activities, especially throughout the summer, I definitely appreciate having gear that can seamlessly transition between the two. It's no shock that I love to end a run or a bike ride at a local brewery and I foresee these shorts playing a pivotal role in enhancing my comfort while enjoying post-workout brews.

Key Features

Aside from looking and feeling great, there are a few key features of Vuori apparel that help with the transition from active life to something more casual.

Moisture Wicking

A necessity for any performance gear, you don't have to worry about the discomfort of sweat from a workout. Vuori clothes use a moisture-wicking fabric to wick moisture away from the body to keep you feeling fresh.

Quick Drying

Working in conjunction with the moisture-wicking material, the Kore Shorts are also quick drying. Even if you do break a sweat or take a run through the rain, the fabric won't be holding any extra moisture and dries out in no time.

Anti-Odor

I saved arguably the most important feature for last, anti-odor properties in the fabric. I stink after a long run, there's no arguing otherwise, so I definitely appreciate clothes that help minimize that unfortunate side-effect.

Final Thoughts

Although I haven't been able to put the shorts to much use in the New York winter, I did get plenty of use out of them in Austin during the actual TRE event and on a substantial hike later that weekend. They're also great around my apartment on recovery days so I can spend the morning lounging comfortably on the couch but fit in some light stretching or yoga later on.

The comfort of their clothes can't be overstated. Although I only have a pair of their shorts, I took plenty of time checking out some of the other items they had on display at TRE. The fabrics they used are incredibly soft and flexible and held up great on our hike. I'm looking forward to logging some solid runs and rides in them once the temperature warms up.

Cheers!
